Singer/Songwriter Jack Johnson and Chef Ed Kenney have a lot in common. They both love their families, island living, surfing, music, food and caring for the ʻāina, the land around them. Jack and his wife Kim created the Kokua Foundation over 20 years ago which instills in students the importance of being lifelong stewards of the earth. With a focus on taking care of our planet by ridding the ocean of plastics, both Ed and Jack advocate transforming the seafood industry by making environmentally conscious choices. Plastic makes up over 80% of all marine debris found from surface waters to deep-sea sediments. Something has got to change. Jack and Ed are on the front lines.
