Chef Alan Wong has made a highly successful career out of marrying different cooking styles with the finest local ingredients. He is chef/owner of the acclaimed Alan Wong’s Restaurants (Honolulu and Shanghai) and The Pineapple Room (Honolulu). A founder of Hawai‘i Regional Cuisine, he is also the recipient of the prestigious James Beard Award and co-chair of the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival. Born in Japan, Alan was raised in the small town of Wahiawa on the Island of O‘ahu.
